
Samuel S. Kwon, DMD
Samuel S. Kwon, DMD graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Biology. After graduation, Dr. Kwon attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in May 2002. He then completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Kwon began his associateship in private practice at The Children's Dental Center of Atlanta, the office of Dr. Ronald Eichel, in August of 2004.
Dr. Kwon is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. He is certified in basic life support, as well as pediatric advanced life support. While in dental school, he was the recipient of many pediatric dental related awards. Dr. Kwon is currently on staff at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital and Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta, where he provides dental rehabilitation for pediatric and special needs patients. He regularly attends educational seminars to further his training in pediatric dentistry, and is classified as Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kwon is originally from Seoul, Korea, and was raised in Metro Atlanta. He is married to Yeunmo Kwon, who also has formal training in the dental field as a dental hygienist. They have two beautiful boys, Corban Samuel and David Asher Kwon. Yeunmo presently stays at home to raise their children. During his free time, Dr. Kwon enjoys traveling, playing basketball, running and spending time with friends and family.
